Introduction
Photos taken during Thanksgiving weekend, 2005 at the Mountain Palm Springs in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. This is a campground near a series of small Palm oasis scattered in the canyons of the foothills. The 5 or 6 springs are located within just a few miles of each other. The palm trees are California Fan Palms which are native plants that occur in the canyons of the Colorado Desert. They don't have dates but do produce a small seed/fruit which you can see on some of the trees.
